The Club will allocate players to teams and assess each team based on the previous seasons (taking into account player movements) and place them in the appropriate grade for the 5 week Grading Phase (The Associations may move teams around during this phase to try and find the best grade for that team). The Associations will then place each team in the grade they believe the team should be playing in for the remainder of the season, based on their performance during the Grading Phase.

Registration/Waiting lists:

You may submit a registration enquiry form at any time, but new players will only be added during the registration period in May/June and November/December. You will need to provide and complete the following at registration:

  • Current registration form – with ALL details filled out
  • Copy of your Birth Certificate/Current Passport if you are a new player
  • Details of clearance if needed (if you have played for a different club in the same competition – WCBA/DVBA)
  • Read, agree to abide by and sign our Code of Conduct & Photo Authority forms.

To comply with Association regulations, new players are rarely added during a season. In this case, registration requests are added to a waiting list for inclusion at the next opportunity.

Both competitions run similar, but not always identical fixtures.
There are two seasons per year:
Autumn (DVBA)/Winter (WCBA) Season – starts in February and runs until June.
Spring (DVBA)/ Summer (WCBA) Season – starts in July and runs until December.

The club trains on Thursday nights, with each team training in a 50-60 minute time slot. Where possible, the younger teams train early, progressing through to the older teams at the later time slots. You can find your team’s training venue & time under the ‘TEAMS’ tab above.
Our training venues are:

  • Plenty Parklands Primary School Gym: 48 Blossom Park Drive, Mill Park
  • Mill Park Basketball Stadium: Stables Shopping Centre, Redleap Ave, Mill Park
